Frequently asked questions about the feasibility check
Short answers to what most people want to know first.
Is this just an AI check?
No. The pre-check is automatic: fixed rules evaluate your answers, and an AI reads your description. That gives you a first assessment right away, and it costs nothing. Experts do the feasibility check by hand. A first draft is written with AI, but a person reviews and completes every line before it reaches you.
What does it cost?
The pre-check is free. The feasibility check costs €27. For businesses in Germany including 19% VAT (€22.69 net), for businesses in other countries without German VAT. After the result you can get the concept and call for €390 net, also plus VAT.
Which Microsoft products do you check agent ideas for?
Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot (with Agent Builder), Copilot Autopilot (preview) and Copilot Cowork. If you do not know yet which platform fits, say so in the pre-check. If a combination fits better, the result says so. For an overview of Chat, Cowork and Autopilot, see the comparison on copilot-coaching.de (in German).
What may I enter?
Describe your idea, not your customers or employees: no names, contact details, customer data or passwords. AI services process your description: for the pre-check a language model from Microsoft, and for drafting the result also Anthropic, Mistral and OpenAI. We do not feed in your name, email or company, and the providers do not use your input for training. More in the privacy policy (in German).
When do I get the result?
Within three business days after your payment and your details have arrived. If we are at a conference during that time, it takes a little longer. You see the date before you pay.
What is in the result of the feasibility check?
You get a written document by email with our verdict on whether and how your idea can be built. It includes the open points with our answers to the follow-up questions, a proposal for the setup, the licenses we think you need, and an estimate of the effort. The short concept for your agent is included.
What happens if something about my idea does not fit?
Then we tell you openly, as early as the pre-check. The result of the feasibility check says in writing why something does not fit and what works instead. That saves you from building something that does not work.
Which verdicts are there, and what follows from them?
There are three. The pre-check shows them in German: “Grundsätzlich machbar” (feasible in principle), “Grundsätzlich machbar, mit offenen Punkten” (feasible in principle, with open points) or “Machbar, aber mit gravierenden Bedenken” (feasible, but with serious concerns). None of them means “cannot be built”: for serious concerns, the result says openly what does not fit and what works instead. You get an offer for the concept after every result, including serious concerns.
How accurate is the pre-check?
It is a first hint, not an expert opinion. Your eight answers are evaluated by fixed rules, and an AI also reads your description. You see which points are open and the first three follow-up questions an expert will settle with you. In the feasibility check, an expert looks at everything closely.
Do you also check Agent Builder, and how does it differ from Copilot Studio?
Yes, Agent Builder is part of Microsoft 365 Copilot and part of the check. With Agent Builder you build agents directly in Microsoft 365 Copilot that you use in chat. Copilot Studio builds agents, AI workflows and AI apps and connects them to data and processes. The side-by-side with a table is in the comparison Agent Builder vs. Copilot Studio.
Is Copilot Autopilot included even though it is still a preview?
Yes. Copilot Autopilot, formerly Scout, is still a preview at Microsoft, and features, name and availability can change. That is why an idea for it always gets a point in the result on whether a preview is allowed in your company. What Copilot Autopilot is, is explained in the Copilot Coaching glossary (in German).
Do I need Copilot Studio licenses or credits already?
No. In the pre-check, pick “I need help with this” for licenses and credits if you do not know. Which licenses your agent needs, in our view, is in the result. How licenses and credits relate for agents is explained in the article Copilot Pricing 2026: License Cost and $0.01 Credits.
What is not part of the feasibility check?
We check on paper: we do not build or test the agent, do not see your systems, and do not advise on law or taxes. If your idea touches data protection or the works council, for example, we name the question and recommend having it reviewed. Only Microsoft or your license reseller can confirm binding license prices. The full rules are in the terms (in German).
How long is the result valid?
It is valid on the date we send it. It is based on your details and the publicly known state of the Microsoft products on that day. Microsoft changes features, licenses and prices often, so check whether anything has changed before you build later.
What is the concept?
After the result you can have us work out your idea: which building blocks, which data, which permissions, which licenses, how much effort and in what order. It includes a 30-minute call. You get the offer for it after the result, and you decide whether to accept it. The short concept in the feasibility check is included and shows you the direction.
Who writes the result?
A first draft is written with AI. Daniel Rohregger, Microsoft MVP, reviews it completely, adds to it and sends it to you himself.
Is the feasibility check a workshop or a consulting hour?
No. You get a written result by email and do not need to find an appointment. It answers one question: what works for your idea, and how do you build it? A 30-minute call is part of the concept only.
Can I cancel, and do I get my money back?
Yes, as long as the result has not been delivered: an email to info@copilot-coaching.de is enough. If you cancel before your details reach us, we refund the full price. After that we keep it minus what we save because of the cancellation. Refunds go to the card you paid with within 14 days.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, by email. If your company is in Germany, it shows VAT. If it is in another country and you enter your VAT ID at Stripe, the invoice shows no German VAT, and the amount stays the same. Stripe only collects the payment.
We have no company card. Can we pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Write to info@copilot-coaching.de and we will send you an offer with our bank details. We start as soon as the money has arrived. In this case you send us your details by email.
Can I book this as a private person?
No. The offer is for businesses and self-employed people only.
Is the feasibility check available in English?
Not yet. The pre-check, the result and the terms are in German, and German is the contract language. These English pages describe the service.
